Change Corporate Representative

Learn how to сhange сorporate representative of a company in CSP

Use the Change Corporate Representative service request to change the corporate representative of a corporate shareholder of your Singapore company.

For this request, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Company person(s) that will serve as a new Corporate Representative(s) for the company;
  • If there is a new person added to the Company as a corporate representative, the necessary identification details will have to be provided.

The request to change the corporate representative will be completed through the following steps:

  • Complete the requested information about the new corporate representative;
  • Make a payment for the service;
  • Generate, sign, and upload the Certificate of Corporate Representative to the system.

How to Start

You can start the Change Corporate Representative request at any time from the New Request page. The service request is a part of the Company Administration Services category.

Step-by-step Instructions

Initial Inquiry

In this step, you will be asked to provide the New Corporate Representative(s) and add New Persons to the company, if necessary. The form will contain the following sections:

Instructions

The Instructions section will provide you with guidance on what is required from you at each step of the service request.

Company Information

For your reference, your Company Name, UEN, and ACRA Business Profile are displayed in this section.

You can download your ACRA Business Profile and other documents by clicking on the alt text icon near appropriate document.

Change Corporate Representative

In this section, please provide information on new Corporate Representatives, and on new Persons added to the company, if any. The fields related to the new Corporate Representatives are mandatory in this section to proceed to the next steps of the request, but they are not mandatory in order to send the form to the staff user.

For your reference, the name of the current Corporate Shareholder is provided at the top of the section.

Existing Corporate Representative(s)

The existing Corporate Representative(s) are displayed in the Existing Corporate Representative(s) table.

New Corporate Representative(s)

In the New Corporate Representative(s) table please add a new Corporate Representative that you would like to replace the current Corporate Representative with.

Click the ADD button to open the Add New Corporate Representative(s) pop-up.

Select the new Corporate Representative from the list and click SAVE.
Alternatively, a new Person can be added to the company that will serve as the new Corporate Representative in the Add New Person table below.

Add New Person

Click the ADD button to open the Add New Person pop-up.

Provide information about the new individual that you would like to add to the company. You are not required to provide all the information in this window at once. However, you will be required to provide all the information before we can process the request. Click the SAVE button to save the information you have entered.

Date of CorpRep certificate and Common seal question

Enter the Date of CorpRep certificate which shall be the date of appointment of the new Corporate Representative.
Please answer the question ‘Does the parent company have a common seal?’ as Yes if the company has a common seal, alternatively choose No.

Check for completeness

Use the CHECK FOR COMPLETENESS button to make sure that you have provided all the information that is required to process your request.

Review Request

After you submit the request, the staff member will review the information you provided. The staff member will answer your questions (or provide additional instructions) in the Messages section. Learn more about how to communicate with the staff member in CSP. If the staff member requires any clarifications, the request will be assigned to you. You will be notified by email when the request is assigned back to you.

You can also monitor progress of the Request from your dashboard.

Once all the necessary information has been received the request will be assigned to you and moved to the Make Payment step.

Make Payment

If you have any questions or require any clarifications about the charges, enter them in the Messages section, and click the REQUEST CLARIFICATION button.

A Proforma invoice for this service request is shown in the Services and Payments window. Click on the view invoice button to open it. After the payment is complete the invoice will be listed in the Paid Invoices section, after clicking the View invoice button the invoice can be downloaded by clicking the download icon to the right of the document.

If you are ready to proceed with the payment, click the MAKE PAYMENT button. It will take you to the My Payments page.

Sign and Upload Certificates

In this step, you will be asked to download the Unsigned Copy of the Certificate of Corporate Representative and upload its manually Signed Copy in the corresponding field. The newly added Persons will also be asked to complete the ID verification.
Please upload the signed Certificate of Corporate Representative by using the upload button in the corresponding field as shown below.

Review Uploaded Certificates

At this step, the staff reviews the signed Certificate of Corporate Representative and submits the request to the next step. The staff may contact you for possible corrections that may be required in the Certificate.

Final QA

At this step, the staff reviews all entered information for correctness and submits the workflow to the next step.

Close Workflow

The services you requested have been delivered and this request is now ready to be closed. The staff makes the final information verification of the entire workflow.

The completed service requests will be shown in the Completed Requests section.

Service Complete

The service is complete and is ready to be closed. You can review the completed service request.

If you are satisfied with the services rendered, click the COMPLETED button. If no action is taken, this request will automatically be marked as completed in 5 days. Completed service requests are shown in the Completed Requests section.
