What is the Current Balance

Every company enrolled on CSP has an associated Payment Account. You add money to this account and then use funds from it to pay for the services that you request. Current Balance is the net balance in a Payment Account at a given time, i.e., it is the amount of money that you have transferred to CSP for your company but that you have not yet used to pay for services.

Current Balance is per Company

If you have multiple companies enrolled within CSP, you will have a separate Current Balance for each of the Payment Accounts associated with each of your companies.

If the total amount you have added to the Payment Account is more than the amount you have used, then the Payment Account will have a positive Current Balance.

How to View Your Current Balance

1. Go to My Payments page on the left navigation menu (see below).
2. Select the company from the dropdown for which you want to view the current balance (see below). If you have only one company, it will be selected automatically.

No dropdown if you have only one company

If you have only one company enrolled in CSP, then the dropdown will automatically select that company, and you do not need to select it from the dropdown. If you have more than one company, they will be listed alphabetically in the dropdown, and the first one will be chosen automatically.

3. The company's current balance will be displayed in the Current Balance on Account (see below).

Note that your Current Balance does not have an expiration date; you can use it for services for your company at any time in the future. If you wish to close the CSP account for your company while the company has a positive Current Balance, it will be returned to you when you close the CSP account.

Does My Current Balance amount have an expiration date?

No, your Current Balance never expires. You can use it at any time. If you decide to close your account with CSP, any balance you have in your account will be refunded to you.
