Open a Corporate Bank Account

Learn how to open a bank account with CSP for your Singapore company

Use the Open a Corporate Bank Account service request to get assistance with opening a bank account for your Singapore company. The company must be enrolled on the CSP platform to request this service.

For this request, you will be required to:

  • Select a bank where you would like to open an account
  • Make a payment if needed
  • Enter account details, and
  • Sign the necessary documents.

Service Request Pricing

Assistance with opening a bank account fee is already included in the New Company Incorporation service request fee. A separate fee will apply for assistance with opening additional bank accounts or based upon your selections within this service request.

How to Start

This service request will be initiated automatically after the completion of Incorporate a New Company. Part 1 service request.

The request will appear in your Active Service Requests section and be assigned to you at the Initial Inquiry step.

Initial Inquiry Step

In this step, you will select the bank where you wish to open the account.

The Instructions section will guide you on what is required from you at each step of the service request.

Company Profile

For your reference, your company’s ACRA Business Profile is displayed in this section. You can download your ACRA Business Profile by clicking on the alt text icon

To view the complete company profile and all associated documents for all your companies that are enrolled on CSP, select the My Companies link in the left navigation menu.

New Bank Account

We have a close relationship with selected banks (Panel Banks), making the account opening process easier for our clients. You can either choose one of our Panel banks or a Non-Panel bank to open the account.

Banks in Singapore require at least two company officers (two directors or a director and a company secretary) to visit the bank branch and sign the paperwork. If you need our company secretary to visit the bank, an additional fee will apply.

Billing Details

For your reference, this section displays the billing information of your company.

Bill To field will be populated with the name of your company and the Billing Address with its registered address.

The information from the Billing Details section is used for the generated proforma invoice during your payment.

Review Inquiry Step

After you submit the request, a staff member will review the information you provided. The staff member will answer your questions (or provide additional instructions) in Messages. If the staff member requires any clarifications, the request will be assigned to you. When the request is assigned back to you, you will be notified by email.
You can also monitor progress of the Request from your dashboard.

When you are required to make a payment, a MAKE PAYMENT button will appear at the top of the service request form. If you have any questions or need any clarifications about the charges, communicate them to staff in Messages, or click the REQUEST CLARIFICATION button to send the form to the staff.

The staff member will review your comments and respond promptly.

If you are ready to proceed with the payment, click the MAKE PAYMENT button. It will take you to the My Payments page.

Pre-Signature Review Step

The staff member will review the document for accuracy. After the review, the staff member will send the service request to you to sign the documents. The system will generate the Resolution of the Bank Account Opening for your signature.

Sign Documents Step

On this step, all signatories will be requested to electronically sign the Resolution of the Bank Account Opening.

The Signature Status section will be shown the signing status of each signatory.

The request will automatically move to the next step after all signatories have signed the document.

Review Signed Documents Step

The staff member will review the signed documents for accuracy.

If the staff member requires any clarifications, the request will be assigned to you on the Sign Documents step.

Provide New Bank Account Details Step

If the bank account opening was successful, staff completes your new bank account information in the service request form. They may submit it for your review to the next step, Review New Bank Account Details.

If the bank account opening was not successful, staff has an option to try another bank. In this case, the current bank account will be saved to the list of your existing bank accounts with the status REJECTED, and staff will be moved back to Review Inquiry step to make a new attempt. All fields will be cleared in this case.

Review New Bank Account Details

A staff may send you a service request to this step to verify the details of your new bank account. These details will be displayed at the bottom of the New Bank Account Details section. Use Messages if you have any questions or comments to the staff, and SUBMIT the request when you are done reviewing.

Final QA Step

In this step, the staff reviews and verifies the complete information for this service request. If everything is in order, the request will be moved to the next step.

Close Workflow Step

The service request is now ready to be closed. The staff makes a final review of the information and sends the workflow to the Client for confirmation of services.

Service Complete Step

You may download any attached documents for your reference.

If you have any questions, use the Messages to communicate with the staff member. Click the REQUEST CLARIFICATION button to send the request back to the staff.

If you are satisfied with the services rendered, click the COMPLETED button. If no action is taken, this request will automatically be marked as completed in 5 days. Completed service requests are shown in the Completed Requests section.
