Sign Controller Notices

Learn how to complete the controller declaration with CSP.

As part of ACRA requirements, the Corporate Services Platform maintains an electronic non-public register of controllers for each client company. This controller information is also updated in ACRA’s centralized register RORC (Register of Registrable Controllers).

Who are registrable controllers?

A registrable controller is someone who:

  • includes an interest in more than 25 percent of shares;
  • have a right to appoint or remove directors holding a majority of the voting rights at director meetings;
  • have the right to exercise significant influence or control over the company;

When there is a change in the company (a new company is incorporated, changes to company shareholding, shareholders, or directors, or any changes to the particulars of a company shareholder or a director) the "Notice For Controllers" will be sent to the email of individual associated with the company. Controllers will have 30 days to complete and sign the controller declaration.
