Deactivating Your Account

You can deactivate (or completely delete) your CSP user account at any time. There are no fees or costs associated with account deactivation.

The CSP system requires that there must be at least one active user (Default Assignee) for any Client enrolled in CSP. Therefore, if you have multiple users associated with the client you can deactivate them (refer to the multiple users quide). But, if you are the only user associated with a client, you will need to contact your CSP Staff agent to delete your account.

Learn difference between the User Account and Client Account

To deactivate your account:

1. Go to the Account Management page (Admin > Manage Users).
2. Make sure that user other than the one you're deactivating is set for Default Assignee (in the top right corner).
3. Click on the Deactivate button in the line of a corresponding user as shown below.

When you deactivate a user account the deactivated user will no longer be able to login to the platform

However, you can activate him later by opening the 'Deactivated' section and clicking the Activate button (see multiple users quide).

To delete your account:

If you are the only user associated with a client and wish to delete your CSP account completely, you should contact your Staff agent and request him to delete your account (refer to Communicating with Service Team).

When you delete the account, you will lose access to all ongoing and completed requests that you have initiated with CSP. Account deletion is not reversible. In other words, after you delete your account you will not be able to recover your access. If you wish to use CSP, you will have to create a new account with a different email.

Account Deletion is permanent

You can not recover a deleted account. You will not have access to any information you have stored in CSP after you delete that account. If you change your mind and wish to use CSP again, you will have to create a new blank account. Therefore, please delete the account with caution.
