Learn how to register for Goods and Services Tax with CSP
Use the Register for GST service request if your Singapore company requires Goods and Services Tax registration.
We offer GST services that help you comply with statutory requirements. Our GST service includes:
- Providing a detailed explanation of how the GST works
- Consultation regarding advantages and disadvantages of GST registration
- Register for GST with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)
- Prepare and file GST returns quarterly
- Acting as the Tax Agent on GST related questions from IRAS
How to Start
This service request is launched if you have selected the GST Registration Service option in the Accounting Services Inquiry service request.
We can start any service request for you
When necessary or on your demand, a staff may launch any service request on your behalf. The request will appear in the list of your Active Service Requests.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Client Review
In this step, you are required to review and approve your GST application inquiry. If a staff has any questions or clarifications, find them in the Messages section. If you have any, write your questions or comments there, and SUBMIT the form when you are done.
After you complete the information and assign the request back to the staff, it will return to the same Staff Review step. The staff will review your entered data and reply to your questions.
If the staff requires additional information or has a question for you, he or she will return the request to you. If the service request form is complete and the entered data is sufficient, and in order, the staff will move the request to the next step.
You can permanently SAVE your form and come to finish and submit it later.

The Instructions section will guide you on what is required from you at this step.

Company Information
For your reference, your company’s main information and ACRA Business Profile are displayed in this section. You can download your ACRA Business Profile by clicking on the icon

To view the complete company profile and all associated documents for all your companies that are enrolled on CSP, select the My Companies link in the left navigation menu.
GST Filing Service
Suppose during the Accounting Services Inquiry service request you have selected the Quarterly GST Filing service. In that case, the toggle in the GST Filing Service in this section will be set to Yes, and it will not be editable.
If you did not previously select the Quarterly GST Filing service, you could do so now in this section by setting the toggle to Yes.

Also, staff may display to you any of the following additional sections:
Staff Attachments
The staff member may attach additional documents for your reference or examples of files you need to provide. These files will be displayed in the Staff Attachments section. To view any file in your browser, simply click on its name.

Client Attachments
If you are required to upload a file, you will see a Client Attachment section.

Billing Details
For your reference, this section displays the billing information of your company.
Bill To field will be populated with the name of your company and the Billing Address with its registered address.
The information from the Billing Details section is used for the generated proforma invoice during your payment.

Service Fees
This section will display a breakdown of all the applicable charges for the services you are requesting.

Make Payment
If you have any questions or require clarification about the charges, enter them in the Messages, and click the REQUEST CLARIFICATION button. The staff member will review your comments and respond promptly.
If you are ready to proceed with the payment, click the MAKE PAYMENT button.

Client Clarifications
You will be assigned this step if staff needs additional information or clarifications from you during the GST registration process.
In this step, check the Messages section to find questions or guidelines from the staff on what is required from you. Take the appropriate action or provide the additional information and click SUBMIT when you are done.
The service request form on this step will contain all the sections from the previous steps. You will not edit the fields, but you can write your comments in the Messages section.
Also, the service request form will contain the following additional sections on your GST registration details.
GST Registration Details
The staff will complete the GST Details section during the GST registration process.
The GST Registration Type field will be populated according to your selection in the Accounting Services Inquiry service request.

Service Complete
The service you have requested is now complete and ready to be closed.
You may download any attached documents for your reference.
If you have any questions, use the Messages section to communicate with the staff member. Click the REQUEST CLARIFICATION button to send the request back to the staff.
If you are satisfied with the services rendered, click the COMPLETED button. If no action is taken, this request will automatically be marked as completed in 5 days. Completed service requests are shown in the Completed Requests section.
